Principal's Message

I am very excited to continue serving as principal for the Spring Station Middle School community for the 2024-2025 school year.  This school year I will celebrate my 33rd year as an educator, with 19 years of experience as a classroom teacher in 4th-6th grade, and 13 years as a school administrator.  I previously served in WCS as principal at Nolensville Elementary and Thompson’s Station Middle and feel so fortunate to have been selected to lead at SSMS.

Our staff consists of an amazing group of educators and student support staff that work together each day to ensure the safety and academic success of our students. Our mission at Spring Station Middle School is to work with all school community stakeholders to provide each student with a meaningful, engaging educational experience in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment where students are challenged each day to meet and exceed their greatest potential.

Here at SSMS, we not only focus on academics but also on character development as we desire to challenge our students to:

S – Show respect to myself and others every day.

A – Act responsibly; it is the right thing to do.

T – Take pride in the work you produce and how you present yourself.

S -  Safe environment for all!

SSMS has a long, outstanding history of excellence in education.  Our teachers and staff pride themselves on providing a student-centered learning environment which includes a rigorous curriculum and prepares our students for the next level of learning.

I am honored to serve as principal of Spring Station Middle School, where we strive to partner with our parents and families to achieve overall student, school, and community success.  If I can be of assistance or answer any questions, please feel free to contact me through the school office at 615-472-5080.

I look forward to another awesome school year with the best staff and students in WCS!

Let’s Go Mustangs!
